Wanetta has an infectious energy that motivates and inspires others to action. Her passion for life makes her an engaging speaker and Program Leader. Wanetta and her husband Grai, live in Qualicum Beach and own a gym where they help their clients change their bodies through nutritional counselling and personal training. Wanetta was a Weight Watchers leader for many years, helping thousands of people reach their goals which she now does in multiple ways including leading all three courses in the Excellence Series. Always pushing herself out of her comfort zone, Wanetta is the first woman to run the famous, West Coast Trail in a day and she is the only woman in the world to have completed three Ironman races on three consecutive days. Her sincere interest in people and their welfare and happiness shines through.
Trish brings fun, energy, insightfulness, and passion to the program room. She utilizes her broad experience in management, entrepreneurship, facilitation and sales to assist others to get the results they identify as important. She enjoys laughter, experiencing joy in the moment, sharing good times with friends and expanding her horizons. A thirst for knowledge drives her to continually expand herself and support others in doing the same both as an Associate Faculty member and Manager of Student Team Performance at Royal Roads University. Trish is dedicated to health and wellness, remaining active through her love of rock climbing, running, swimming, hiking, and sailing. An integral part of her life with her husband is spending time with their five children and four grandchildren.
Pete has a 25 year history of successfully building and guiding teams in the software industry through highly challenging situations. In a very technical world, he brings an ability to foster the human side of teamwork. Pete‘s career in “excellence”, began in 2014 with a non-profit in Bellingham, WA. While taking or assisting their courses, he also joined the board of directors and helped steer them towards a relationship with Excellence Seminars International. Pete‘s driving focus is to deeply connect with people, appreciating their unique gifts. A fan of the messy journey, he uses his wit, analytical ability, and compassion to help people shine.
With a deep passion for learning and growing, Darren began with the Excellence Series in 1995. Darren has been involved in youth sports for over 25 years, and coached dozens of teams in multiple sports, locally, nationally and internationally. As a trainer and facilitator, he has taught hundreds of coaches how to be better coaches. Darren’s career background is in Sales Management and Entrepreneurship. After selling his business in 2013, he has used his ‘retirement’ to travel and seek out new opportunities to teach and learn. With a dose (or more) of humour, his ease of interacting with people, and his excitement to uncover the possibility, Darren is thrilled to be lead CORE Training for Workplace Teams and the Advancement of Excellence — holding the mirror for inspiration and change.
From an early age, Pam has generated opportunities for people to create excellence in their lives. At 15, she began coaching competitive synchronized swimming; at 19 won the “Most Promising Coach in Canada” award; and in her early 20s she coached internationally. Compelled to make a social contribution, she completed her education, worked in non-profit organizations and in 1983 began teaching communication, leadership and organizational skills in post-secondary education. As a lifelong learner, she took the Excellence Series in 1989, started leading programs in 1998 and became the Director of Excellence Seminars International in 1999. Pam lives in an active lifestyle in Vancouver filled with sport and various adventures, often including one or more of her three grown children whom she enjoys immensely.
Guy Le Masurier
Guy has been sharing his energy, positivity, and expertise in health and fitness for 20 years. Early in his career he was a strength and conditioning coach for the Los Angeles Kings (1996-2000) and was passionate about working with high level athletes. Now, Guy is a professor in the Sport, Health, and Physical Education program at Vancouver Island University and author of several award-winning textbooks on fitness, health, and wellness. Guy loves teaching and learning including leading the Advancement of Excellence and Mastery II. In his spare time, Guy serves his community as an on-call firefighter and he loves to play squash, grow vegetables, play the drums, and ‘cozy down’ with his wife Jodi.
Jodi Le Masurier
Jodi is an educator committed to helping people create and live their most fulfilling personal and professional lives. A program developer and facilitator in the fire service since 2007, Jodi’s company designs and delivers education and training for adults wanting more in their lives. As a program leader for both The Wall and Advancement of Excellence, Jodi is devoted to helping people create the lives they truly want. Some of Jodi’s most rewarding moments happen when people realize they’re capable of more than they ever thought possible. She lives on Protection Island with her husband Guy.
Kimberly has been immersed in The Excellence Series since 1996 and leads all three courses in the Series as well as Inside Passage. Her energy, enthusiasm and humour create a winning combination as a facilitator. By living her life to the fullest, Kimberly truly ‘walks the talk’ and inspires others to go after and actualize their life-long goals and dreams. Her passion for living a meaningful and fulfilling life is evident in everything she does. Kimberly is committed to making a difference in our world through strengthening the fabric of goodwill globally with her W.I.N.G.S. initiative. She and her husband Mark own and operate an electrical contracting company, and are living the dream in beautiful Belcarra, BC.
Carol is a highly regarded educator in the field of personal and professional development. She began to lead courses in the Excellence Series in 1986 and she has worked successfully with thousands of people in her role as a Senior Facilitator. Carol’s life work is in assisting people in gaining clarity about what has meaning for them. Her masterful skills and insight, combined with humor and compassion create a phenomenal sense of safety in the training room. Carol has developed and taught many other courses, most recently including “Inside Passage” and “Lighting the Path”. Carol lives in Washington with her husband Stephen, an accomplished artist.
For over 30 years as a seminar leader and group process facilitator, Larry’s mission has been to: “Make a heart-felt difference by contributing in significant, measurable ways to the life satisfaction of individuals and the effectiveness of organizations.” Expressing that mission, he has conducted countless corporate trainings and public seminars throughout the U.S., Canada, Hong Kong and the former Soviet Union to groups up to 2,000. Larry has been a highly respected leader of the Excellence Series seminars since 1983. His engaging style, humor and sincerity, help participants to create personal breakthroughs in newly discovered strengths, abilities, and an expanded vision for their future.
Bobbi Smith is dedicated to serving others both personally and professionally. She has a Masters in Adult Education and has taught in a variety of academic settings, assisting other adults to realize their dreams and goals. A recent graduate of the Excellence Series, Bobbi has experienced the transformative impact of these courses and she is excited to be a part of the Excellence Team as a Program Leader for the Advancement of Excellence. An avid mountain biker and runner, Bobbi lives with her family in Campbell River, BC.
Alice Van Blokland
A focused and passionate person, Alice’s professional experience has been in the human services industry. She and her husband of more than 30 years, Gerry, run Oraya Communications in Victoria, providing project management, coaching and administrative services designed to assist people with everything from education, employment, improved finances, to dream jobs and improved relationships. She attributes her successful management of these multi-million dollar projects to the skills refined through her application of life-long learning, especially those skills learned in the Excellence Series in 2000. Alice is a published author, Master/Teacher of Reiki, Director of Employment at Beacon Community Services and she leads the Advancement of Excellence.

Javier completed the Excellence Series in 2012. Since then, he has immersed himself in assisting countless programs and is an integral part of the ESI Team as a Service Representative in Vancouver and Lower Mainland, as well as, an Operations Manager for all of our Service Centers. Javier’s ability to easily connect with others allows him to pursue one goal: to ensure individuals have an opportunity to experience the Excellence Series so they experience the extraordinary results that flow from doing this kind of learning. Javier enjoys developing close relationships with others using his sense of humor, contagious energy, and fun attitude towards life – “If something doesn’t bring you joy, why do it…”

Erika is hard-working, supportive and dedicated to improving both herself and her community. Born and raised in Europe, Erika immigrated from Slavokia to the United States in 2005 and since then has lived in Las Vegas, Chicago, Denver, Boston and Providence. As a pilot with Allegiant Air, she moved to Bellingham a couple of years ago and quickly got involved with Excellence Northwest, taking courses and stepping up onto their Board of Directors. Erika appreciates the value that has come from both her and her husband taking the courses and from sharing a common language. Her mission now is to do everything possible to strengthen good will in her community by supporting others to take the Excellence Series.

As a passionate lifelong learner, Amanda began her journey with Excellence Seminars in 2014 and just recently completed the Graduate Series. Never one to sit still, she has just begun the journey to completing her a Doctorate in Business Administration. Amanda’s career has primarily been with First Nations communities and she has been committed to supporting individuals and communities make change and begin healing journeys. She sees these programs as a catalyst for lasting change, growth, capacity building and healing. Since attending the Pursuit of Excellence in her teens, Andrea has been an advocate of the Excellence Series, assisting adult and teen programs on Vancouver Island and the Yukon. Debbe Keenan is a long-standing graduate, having completed the Excellence Series in 1988. Armed with passion and new found self-worth, Debbe became certified in Aromatherapy and Health & Wellness and started her own business. She quickly became one of the top distributors in a health and wellness company and grew her business to include 1200 distributors worldwide. Throughout the years, Debbe has audited and assisted numerous programs and since moving to the Edmonton area, has taken on a number of roles with ESI, including her current roles of Volunteer Coordinator and Service Representative. Family is central in Debbe’s life! She and her husband Ken spend lots of time with their two grown children, five grandchildren and a very large extended family.

Robin has a passion for supporting people to unleash their hidden talents and is a fierce advocate committed to finding opportunities for everyone. Wendy is a personal trainer, has almost 20 years sales experience, and does home parties for Tupperware, which makes her a natural fit for doing home presentations for ESI.
